IMPORTANT NOTES TO EXHIBITORS
Exhibitors may collect the class labels for their entries from the marquee on the day before the show between 6pm and 8pm. Alternatively class labels may be collected in the marquee on the morning of the show between 6.30 am and 9.45 am as exhibits are brought for display.
- All entries including carnival classes must be made on the official entry form, continuing on a separate sheet if more space is required.
- Families may share one entry form, subject to each individual entry being clearly defined.
- All entrance money must be submitted with your entry form - 25p per entry. There will be a maximum entry fee of £10 for any one individual (not family) entering more than 50 exhibits. There is no entry fee for the Garden News Top Tray or Top Case classes and no points will be awarded towards cups – but please note on your entry form if you plan to enter these classes as space will need to be allocated in the marquee for these large items. For Top Tray entries, please indicate A in the class number column below, and for Top Vase entries please write B in class number column below. For entries in classes 302, 306, 316, 318 and 326, please add details if possible of how much space will be required for your exhibit.
- All entries for Section 5 must include the entrant’s date of birth, otherwise they may be disqualified.
- Please deliver your completed entry form and correct money, in a sealed envelope, to the collecting boxes at The Village Shop or at Hawkesbury Post Office between Monday 15th and Tuesday 23rd August. Entries close at 12 noon on Tuesday 23rd August.
- A full list of rules is to be found on a separate page of this schedule. Any entry not complying with the specification, as set out in the schedule will be disqualified.
- Any queries about entries should be directed to the Entries Secretary, Mr A Merritt (Tel 01454 326155).
- Please note requirement to specify for Sections 1, 2 and 3 whether you are entering the Cottagers class or the Open class by adding “C” for Cottagers or “O” for Open after each class number.
