Information for Stallholders

Hawkesbury Showground has space for 40 stalls, all on level grass, arranged around the central entertainment arena. Pitch size is 20’ wide and 15’ deep (6m x 4.5m), with a pitch fee of £30. There is room on each pitch for one vehicle, which can be parked alongside, or behind, the stall and may remain on site for the day. We aim to book a variety of craft, food, charity and gift stalls to provide diverse and interesting browsing for visitors during the afternoon. We do not accept bookings from businesses or charities that merely want advertising space. There is an award for “Best Stall” chosen and presented by the Show Chairman.

How to Book a Pitch

Please complete a booking form, send a copy of your personal liability insurance, fill in a risk assessment and agree to the Terms and Conditions. Access to the Showground by car or van is between 7am and 12.00 noon – after that time cars are not allowed to drive onto the field but may remain parked by their stall during the day. The gates open to the public at 12.30pm. Stalls can depart from 6.00pm, although visitors will still be on the show ground as the show concludes with the Auction of donated produce in the marquee at 6.30pm. Stallholders should bring their own table, chairs and display / advertising. Most also bring a gazebo. Trestle tables 6′ long x 2′ wide (1.8m x 0.6m) are available to hire on the day at £5.00 per table.
